These terms govern use of specdevcon.com, a website operated by Agent Driven Development LLC. They apply to the informational launch site and its conference date-notification form. They are not ticket or attendance terms.
The site
SpecDevCon is a planned one-day professional conference. Dates, locations, speakers, sessions, prices, and other event details are not final unless we clearly identify them as confirmed.
Submitting an email address or confirming a notification request does not buy a ticket, reserve a place, create priority access, guarantee an invitation, or promise that an event will occur. We may change, postpone, or discontinue plans without owing a website visitor compensation.
Who may use it
You must be at least 16 to submit the date-notification form. The site is intended for professional and general-audience use, not for children.
You may use the site only in a lawful way. You may not:
- interfere with the site, its security, or another person’s use;
- submit an address you do not control or have authority to use;
- probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access except where applicable law expressly permits the activity; or
- use site content or systems to commit fraud, impersonation, harassment, infringement, or another unlawful act.
We may restrict access reasonably necessary to protect people, the site, or our legal rights.
Date-notification request
If you affirmatively request it and confirm the address, Agent Driven Development LLC may use your email address to send the confirmation process and the SpecDevCon date announcement. That permission does not cover a general newsletter, parent-brand email, sponsor message, ticket promotion, or unrelated marketing.
You may unsubscribe at any time. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Notice.
Ownership and permitted use
The site and its original text, design, graphics, logos, recordings, and other materials are owned by Agent Driven Development LLC or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view the site and share ordinary links for personal or professional reference. Unless the law allows it or we give written permission, you may not reproduce, sell, modify, remove rights notices from, or create a misleading affiliation with the site or its materials.
“SpecDevCon” and associated branding may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or official status without written permission.
Information you send us
Do not send confidential business information, trade secrets, sensitive personal information, or proposals through a general contact or notification form. A message does not create a confidential, fiduciary, professional, or advisory relationship.
If you send feedback about the website, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment, but we will not publicly attribute it to you without permission. This does not transfer ownership of material protected by rights that cannot lawfully be transferred this way.
Links and third parties
The site may link to websites we do not control. A link is provided for context and does not by itself mean endorsement. Third-party sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and you use them at your own risk.
No professional advice
Site content is general information and opinion. It is not legal, financial, security, employment, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for decisions made using the information.
Availability and warranties
We try to keep the site accurate and available, but plans change and errors occur. To the extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.
Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Limits of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Agent Driven Development LLC and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use this informational site.
For a claim arising only from use of this free launch site, our aggregate liability will not exceed US $100. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including where applicable liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Different terms and limits will apply to any future ticket purchase or event attendance and must be presented before a purchase.
Governing law and disputes
Indiana law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory law of your place of residence applies. A dispute relating only to this website must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Indiana, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
These launch terms do not require arbitration and do not waive a right to participate in a class proceeding.
Before filing a claim, you and we agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve it by written notice, unless a legal deadline or urgent relief makes that impractical.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site develops. The current version and effective date will appear here. A change does not retroactively alter an accrued claim or create consent to a materially different use of personal information.
General provisions
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining terms will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, together with policies expressly incorporated here, are the complete agreement for use of the launch website.
