SpecDevCon Cookie and Similar-Technologies Notice

Effective date: August 16, 2026

This notice explains how specdevcon.com uses cookies, browser storage, pixels, and similar technologies. Agent Driven Development LLC operates the site.

Launch position

The public launch site is designed not to use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral tracking, or non-essential analytics. We will verify that position with a live browser and network audit before opening the date-notification form.

The site may use limited storage or access that is strictly necessary to:

  • protect a form from forgery, abuse, or duplicate submission;
  • maintain an authorized administrator’s secure session;
  • remember a visitor-requested display preference; or
  • distribute traffic and deliver the service reliably.

The source-reviewed launch build uses the following visitor-controlled storage:

Name Provider category Purpose Duration Category
sdc-color-scheme First-party browser local storage Remembers the light or dark appearance explicitly selected by the visitor Until the visitor changes or clears the preference Preference

The public launch source contains no advertising, cross-site tracking, analytics pixel, or third-party embed. Authorized site administrators may receive separate login and security cookies when using the private administration interface. The live site will be checked after deployment for any additional storage introduced by the hosting or delivery layer, and this table will be updated if the result differs.

Consent

Where applicable law requires consent, we will not store or access a non-essential technology until the visitor makes a clear affirmative choice. Rejecting must be as easy as accepting. Continuing to browse is not consent.

If we add non-essential analytics, embedded media, advertising, or another optional technology, we will first update this notice and add a control that allows people to accept or reject it by purpose. Withdrawing a choice will be as easy as making it.

Browser controls

Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies and site data. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent a requested feature from working. Browser controls do not replace a site consent control when one is legally required.
